My name is Shaun Steven Johnson. I was born in Iowa on August 16th, 1990. I got my first computer for Christmas 2003. Ever since then, I have been a reader of video game, music and movie blogs online. One of my favorite websites that covers all of my three passions is IGN.com. I have been a reader of IGN for almost a decade. As a loyal reader since before high school, I quickly realized that writing for an entertainment site was what I wanted to do with my life. I have always been one to give my two-cents about everything, so being a review, reporter and a content builder of a blog or website has always felt like a perfect fit.

I started working at Kum and Go in June of 2007. I graduated from Waukee High School in 2008. I was promoted to a sales manager at Kum and Go in January of 2010. I graduated from DMACC with my Associates in Liberal Arts in 2011. I planned on attending the University of Iowa for my last two years of college, but after being thwarted by family issues, I decided to take a break from college. I worked at Kum and Go and saved money. While working at Kum and Go, I listened to a lot of podcasts while managing, doing counts and orders for the cooler.

I began to develop the idea that I could start my own blog, podcast and website for relatively nothing nowadays. After nearly seven years, I quit Kum and Go and started attending Iowa State University in the Fall of 2013. One of my classes, Ethics had a requirement of making a website/portfolio to showcase what you have learned and give students a free outlet to write. I have had to work full-time while attending college, so my time is limited, but I have been cultivating a strong team to make the leap and start my podcast and company in 2015. After a hiatus from blogging, I began doing it again. I am very excited for what is to come in the future!
